- First, prepare the chicken breast by marinating it in your favorite seasoning and grilling until cooked through and juicy.
- While the chicken cooks, chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large serving bowl.
- Next, rinse and drain the black beans, halve the cherry tomatoes, and dice the bell pepper and avocado. Toss them into the salad bowl with the prepared lettuce.
- Once the chicken is done, slice it finely and add it to the bowl.
- Then, drip the barbecue sauce over the salad and add the lime juice. Toss gently until everything is well coated.
- Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheese and chopped cilantro over the top for a fresh finish.
